The information contained in this database is a work in progress and has been developed through a best efforts collaboration of The Marshall Space Flight Center, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, and the Marshall Retirees Association researching numerous source documents. The purpose and intent of this undertaking is to honor all U.S. Government Civil Servants who have contributed to the exploration of space during their tenure at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center from 1960 to the present. This undertaking was made with a goal of making the database as accurate as possible. However, it is acknowledged that the information may not be 100% accurate as there may be inadvertent omissions, inaccuracies, or oversights. NOTE: It is imperative to acknowledge that in addition to the civil servants contained in this database, there are a significant number of NASA contractors that provided invaluable contributions to the exploration of space at the Marshall Space Flight Center during the period of 1960 to the present. Discussions are ongoing on the best approach to afford these companies and their employees appropriate recognition. As a result, information pertaining to these contractors and their employees is not available at this time in this database.
